BioWriting has always been a passion for me. I have been writing for as long as I can remember (even beyond that). There have always been stories, ideas; character outlines circling around in my head, at times this can be both a blessing and curse.
I remember throughout highschool I would be sitting class, listening avidly to the lecture (in most cases I would be absolutely enthralled) then suddenly my mind would go off on a tangent and I would be swept away by my thoughts. Immediately I would begin jotting down whatever was bombarding me into the backs of all my notebooks.
My lunch breaks, spare classes, weekends, evenings - any spare moment I could get my hands on I spent tucked away in front of a computer and pounding away on the keys with relentless vigor. I had a story to tell, and while I was working on that there would be three others just BURSTING to get out.
I could never seem to write fast enough for my own imagination.
Perhaps one day I will work up the nerve to approach an agent in the first of many steps towards getting published.
For now I write for the simple joy it brings me (as well as to help maintain my sanity in most cases).
